Apple ha sacado una nueva actualización del iPhone OS 3.0.1. Esta actualización soluciona un agujero de seguridad muy grave, por el cual un atacante podría hacerse con el control del iPhone mediante SMS.
La actualización tiene un tamaño de 231 Mb (ya podría mejorar esto y no actualizar todo el sistema de golpe).
Para actualizase, basta con abrir iTunes, y en el dispositivo iPhone (una vez conectado), pulsar en Buscar actualizaciones.
Feliz día del Administrador de Sistemas

Hoy día 31 de Julio de 2009 (Nota: 30 de Julio en el 2010) es el día del Administración de Sistemas. Así que me felicito y os felicito a todos los Administradores de Sistemas del mundo.
System Administrator Appreciation Day (Sysadmin Day) es el sitio donde se empezó a organizar dicho evento. Ya va por la décima edición.
El trabajo de un buen Administrador de Sistemas, apenas se nota, porque todos los sistemas funcionan correctamente. Pero cuando un mal administrador de sistemas, o bien el haber elegido utilizar Windows, es el que administra la red, entonces es cuando todo el mundo lo conoce.
También hay una canción sobre los Administradores de Sistemas.
Así que lo mejor es ser un desconocido, eso significará que todo funciona correctamente y que nadie se ha quejado.

Imágenes para escritorios grandes

Yo suelo trabajar con dos monitores, con lo que mi escritorio se ve ampliado. Al ampliar el escritorio se amplia la resolución de pantalla total, la suma de las dos, con lo que la imagen que tengamos como fondo de pantalla perderá calidad. Para ello hay que incluir como fondo de pantalla imágenes con la misma resolución o similar a la que tengamos.
Aquí os dejo unas cuantas imágenes sobre el Espacio, la Luna, la Estación internacional, saturno, la tierra, etc., siempre me ha fascinado. Espero que os gusten.
